This new backpack, marketed for the Men’s collection, is a leather hand sewn backpack that emulates a basketball. With Hermes making the “Baseball Bolide”, it makes sense for Hermes to dive into other sport inspirations brought into their collections!
The story behind the Cityback
The Cityback, Hermès’ first men’s leather rucksack, is as urban as can be. Its aerodynamic, pure lines, its easy-to-use, spacious volume, as well as its ergonomic stirrup-straps make it a metropolitan’s friend. As for its ultra-thin, slender shape, it provides intense free range of movement for sliding on asphalt.
Complementary to Evergrain calfskin, this leather has a similar suppleness and comes in a wide palette of "forever" colors!

Appearance: Satiny; small, regular grain obtained by printing
Feel: Grain more visible than that of Evergrain calfskin
Hand: Supple and soft
Change over time: Softens and becomes shinier
This Hermes backpack is in Evercolor calfskin with adjustable straps and a Palladium plated zip closure. The dimensions for this backpack are L 27 x H 44 x D 11 cm.
